Mr.Prasantha Jayamanna was awarded for the Outstanding Young Entrepreneur of Sri Lanka Award (TOYP 2009) for Business Accomplishment. Ceremony was on 09th October 2009 at Cinnamon Lakeside Hotel.  It was organized by HSBC JCI (Junior Chamber International Sri Lanka).

The pharmaceuticals sector has been a new area for DPJ Holdings to venture into while marking their 10th year anniversary. Chairman Prasantha Jayamanna said that DPJ Holdings will venture into pharmaceuticals as the sector is not properly developed or not properly handled and it will start operations by the name of DPJH Pharmaceuticals.
